As a Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida, she cares for individuals dealing with mental health diagnoses such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and more. She has been practicing in the medical field for the past 10 years and also counts with personal experience of caring for her sister who has special needs (seizures and behavioral problems). She takes pride in delivering individualized treatment plans that prioritize both your well-being and your unique journey towards mental health stability.

    Dr. Rosario earned her medical degree with honors from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2005 and completed her psychiatric residency there in 2009. She further specialized in psychiatric care for children and adolescents, finishing her subspecialty training in 2013. Her care philosophy integrates various resources to support patients, including art therapy, dance, surf therapy, yoga, and home/school visits when needed. Dr. Rosario also addresses mental health challenges associated with chronic physical conditions like genetic disorders and diabetes. Dr. David A. Medina, a seasoned psychiatrist based in Orlando, Florida, brings over two decades of experience as the supervising Psychiatrist at Davenport Behavioral Center. Dr. Medina graduated from the Central University of Venezuela with a medical degree and has since dedicated his career to psychiatry.


With a deep understanding of various specialties within psychiatry, including geriatric psychiatry, neuropsychiatric care, and psychopharmacology, Dr. Medina is well-equipped to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions. He particularly specializes in geriatric patients facing dementia and Alzheimer's. His holistic approach involves a combination of medications and psychotherapy, meticulously tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, especially those in their golden years.
